One of the most popular is in an Italian sandwich called “panino onto” or “porchetta on a roll.” The sandwich includes grilled vegetables and porchetta, and is served with ketchup or barbecue sauce.

Porchetta from northern Italy

Using a wooden spoon, stir the cornmeal into the water and allow it to cook on a low heat. Cook it for at least 45 minutes. If it becomes too thick, add some water and cook for a few more minutes.

Pasterelle

Pasterelle is an Italian food product produced by the Pastorelli family. They have a long history of innovation in the food business, starting a food distribution company outside of Rome. Today, the company is still a family-run business. Amadeo Pastorelli started out as a postmaster in Lucoli, Italy, and soon began distributing food products from his post office.
